🌈📚 Pride at the Library: A Day of Creativity, Community & Celebration! 📚🌈
Join us on Saturday, June 20 at the Merrickville Public Library for a full day of Pride-themed activities for youth! Hosted in partnership with NGRYA (North Grenville Rainbow Youth Alliance), this event welcomes all youth, whether you’re a member of NGRYA, an ally, a friend, or simply looking for a fun and inclusive way to celebrate Pride Month.
✨ Activities throughout the day include:
🎨 Pride crafts and creative activities
🔍 A library-wide scavenger hunt exploring Canadian 2SLGBTQIA+ history and stories
📚 Pride-themed book displays and learning opportunities
🤝 Activities and support from Big Brothers Big Sisters’ PROUD program
🌈 A welcoming space to connect, learn, create, and celebrate community
No registration required! Drop in anytime throughout the day and participate in as many activities as you’d like.
