You can contribute to library service in the Merrickville-Wolford and Montague Township communities by making a donation.
Your donation can sponsor books or other materials for our collection (or ecollections), support programs or services, or help with our operating expenses.
You can also donate to our Legacy Fund to provide ongoing support for technology, larger projects, and future needs.
Merrickville Public Library is a registered charity. We will issue tax receipts for donations of $10.00 or more.
You can make online donations through the Merrickville-Wolford Public Library Fund.
You can also donate by credit/debit card or by cheque (payable to Merrickville Public Library) at the Library, or mail your cheque to:

Merrickville Public Library appreciates donations of new or gently used books and DVDs or CD audiobooks, as well as puzzles and Lego – however, due to space limitations, we are not always able to accept donations. Please contact Library staff in advance, if you have materials you wish to donate. We ask that donations be delivered during open hours.
We are UNABLE to accept:
- Older books and DVDs
- Magazines over one year of age
- Encyclopedias & Textbooks
- Readers Digest abridged books/compilations
- VHS or audio cassettes
- Damaged, yellowed, or musty materials
All donated materials are property of the library and will be added to the collection, sold, or discarded at the Library’s discretion. For more information, please contact the Library.
