Fitness for Your Aging Brain
“Fitness for your Aging Brain” is a series of 8 weekly 1-hour exercise classes for ages 50+. The routines are designed by Jill Simpson to exercise the body in a way that keeps older brains functioning at their best. This program will be hosted at the Library.
Based on the latest neuroscience, geriatric and fitness research, the classes combine cardiovascular exercise, mental challenge, rhythm-based movement, and simple fun in a program geared to maintain a healthy brain as you age.
The Library is hosting 2 groups on Fridays, at 10:00 and at 12:30, starting May 10. Limited spaces. Registration is required. There is no charge, but donations are accepted. Contact the Library for more information.
