Guided Meditation for Wellness (Fridays at 2:00 pm):
Guided Meditation is an effective method of stress management. The Library will be hosting a free introductory 6-week group led by representatives from the Health Centre. Learn how to use guided imagery and relaxation techniques to help improve stress management, self-esteem and emotional and physical wellbeing. Off the Shelf (Mon, Feb. 24, 7:00 pm – special date):
This month’s Off the Shelf will entertain us with some tales of romance. Off the Shelf has a special date due to Family Day. Don’t miss this evening of sweet nothings and light refreshments for adult listeners.

Valentines Party (Sat, Feb. 8, 11:00 am):
Love books? Love having fun? Then come to the library’s Valentines Party on Sat, Feb 8. Join us for stories, games, crafts, and treats to celebrate Valentines Day. We’ll have activities for kids in primary grades, preschoolers & toddlers!
Thomas the Tank Engine Play Day (Sat, Feb 22, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm):
Thomas & Friends are back at the Library again! All Tank Engine enthusiasts are invited to come play with Thomas, Percy, James and other steamies! We’ll have trains, even more tracks to build, and everything you need for great adventures!
StoryTime (Fridays, 10ish):
Our Friday morning drop-in has stories, songs, rhymes, rhythm instruments, and a simple craft for toddlers and preschoolers. It’s a great way to encourage early literacy skills and socialize with other kids in a relaxed atmosphere. New StoryTimers are always welcome!
Story Trail: continues through the winter. Enjoy some fresh-air family fun with our new book “Who’s Tracks Are These?” by Jim Nail.
