The suspension of InterLibrary Loan service has ended and this service is now resuming.
However, due to the provincial budget cuts, the previous delivery service has ended and the network will be switching to mail delivery (with some postage reimbursement). Because of these changes, a number of libraries are extending their own suspension while they adjust. Some libraries may choose to leave the network entirely.
What does this mean for Merrickville Public Library?
Our Library will start making InterLibrary Loan requests for our patrons (and sending interlibrary loans to other libraries) immediately, but the pool of libraries available to borrow from is reduced for the time being. We’ll do our best during this transition period, and keep you informed of changes.
We sincerely regret any inconvenience this causes. Contact the Library for more information
