Art Workshop for Kids (Sat, Apr. 27, 1:00 pm):
Our series of MAG (Merrickville Artists Guild) art workshops is wrapping up this month. These workshops have introduced kids to a variety of art techniques on the theme of heroes – legendary and super.
This month, the kids will be learning Manga animation techniques of proportion, colour, tone, line, and shading to draw portraits of themselves with the wide eyes, wild hair and seriously cool poses of anime superheroes. Thanks to MAG, Gloria, and guest Manga artist Eowyn for donating their time to encourage young artists.
