New! MAG Art Workshops for Kids (starts Sat, Oct. 27, 1:00 pm):
This season our Brenda Carter Memorial Workshops for Kids will be offering something new. Gloria Stowell is partnering with the Merrickville Artists’ Guild (MAG) for a series of 4 “Hero”-themed art workshops for 8 – 14 years old!
Superheroes and heroes of legend are the inspiration for these workshops – each with a different MAG artist. Over the course of the series (2 sessions in fall, 2 in winter/spring), kids will be introduced to a variety of art techniques and will create their own pieces to take home.
Our October session is Superhero Silhouettes with painter Mary Loos.
